ETHS Parent Groups
- ETHS Boosters
Boosters are parents, friends and alumni who support ETHS extracurricular activities. The funds they raise go to support sports, music, drama and other activities. Members get free admission to all dual athletic contests, and free admission or discounts at many concerts and plays. - ETHS Black Advocacy Network (E-BAN)
E-BAN is a network of ETHS parents, staff, and community members who work to promote the academic achievement and well-being of black students at ETHS. E-BAN serves as a forum for sharing resources, expertise and experiences with families related to the education and personal development of black students. The network also seeks to build connections between ETHS and the black community in order to better serve families as they navigate students through four years of high school. This committee supports and advocates for the Latino community in matters relative to the learning environment and teh educational needs of students. The Committee supports and sponsors projects and initiatives to resolve problems and positively impact the learning environment and the academic results for students. It is a space for parents/guardians to learn how to navigate through the school system and to acquire new skills to empower Latino members and the Latino community. ETHS students, parents/guardians and staff, District 202 community members are invited to be part of this committee. Meetings are held in Spanish with English interpreting. Parent Ambassadors was established to help transform parent involvement and position parents (and other adult family members) as “ambassadors” for ETHS. Ambassadors help support prospective, incoming, new and current parents and families at scheduled events throughout the school year. - School Dance Volunteer Committee
Coordinated by the Student Activities Director to support the following school dances: Homecoming Dance, Winter Formal, Frosh/Soph Formal, Prom. Any current ETHS parent or guardian may be part of the committee or volunteer to assist with event set-up and food service at the dances.
