Course Planning for Parents 1/11/17, 7pm, E112
Check out our flyer – Course Planning Jan 2017
ETHS Parents Engaged is hosting a meeting on course planning for the parents of current freshmen, sophomores and juniors in advance of course selection.
Students will begin meeting with their counselors after final exams to begin course selection for the 2017-18 school year. Parents can ask questions at this event so they can have informed discussions with their students about options and strategies.
Departmental representatives, members of the counseling staff, and experienced parents will be there to answer questions and share perspectives. The event will begin with a Q&A panel, where parents may ask general questions about courses, followed by an opportunity for parents to talk to staff and students in small groups about their students’ options.
Navigating ETHS – 9/14/2016, Room E112, 7-8:30 pm
Join us Wednesday, September 14, 2016, for Navigating ETHS and hear from key ETHS administrators and veteran parents! See Flyer – Navigating ETHS
Help your student make successful academic and extracurricular choices:
* Learn about school safety and discipline
* Find out who to talk to if your student needs assistance
* Begin post-secondary planning (It’s never too soon!)
* Meet and talk with administrators individually
* Learn from the experiences of other parents
This town hall-like meeting will begin with brief presentations followed by a question-and-answer session. The evening will conclude with an informal period during which parents and guardians can speak to the panelists individually. All parents and guardians of ETHS students are invited to this free event. No sign-up is required. This event will be held in the ETHS Welcome Center (room E112), Wednesday, September 14, 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
